To ensure stability and compliance with security standards, we regularly carry out maintenance work on our systems. The maintenance work involves, for example, the replacement of old equipment, the addition of further systems or software updates to existing systems.

| Standard Wartung: |
This is a maintenance on all systems operated by mdex. This does not include maintenance on critical systems of the mdex Regelleistungsplattform / mdex control power platform (RLP), which could potentially lead to interruptions.
 We will inform you in time about your next relevant maintenance via the mdex Management Portal  at News.
Possible restrictions during maintenance work:
• Despite all precautions, there may be brief interruptions to the mdex device connections during maintenance work.
• Once the work has been completed, it may be necessary to restart the mobile device (router/modem), especially in the case of SIM cards, in order to re-establish an interrupted mobile data connection.  An automatic connection monitoring should be activated in the mobile device, e.g. a "ping reboot" to an mdex Ping Server. Then, in case of faulty data transmission, a reboot of the mobile device is automatically triggered and the mobile data connection is independently re-established. In all routers that where preconfigured by mdex, the automatic connection monitoring (ping reboot) is already activated.

| RLP Wartung: |
This is a maintenance on our mdex Regelleistungsplattform / mdex control power platform (RLP). This maintenance is only relevant for customers who use our mdex Regelleistungsplattform (control reserve platform ).
We will inform all affected customers in time about the next scheduled RLP maintenance via mdex Management Portal at News.
Possible restrictions during maintenance work:
• The platform will briefly be unavailable during the specified maintenance period. Your mobile devices will then be immediately switched to the redundant site, so that there will be probably only a very short downtime.
